Less than a week remains for Everton to get any business done in the January transfer window before the deadline on Monday.
The window has not been kind to Everton as fans are left waiting on their first arrival weeks since it opened for business.
David Moyes will be well aware of the areas that need improving for the second half of the season as the pressure is being piled on for the final days.
Even after the game on Monday evening, Moyes spoke about potential Everton transfers in a clear plea to the Friedkins.
Everton fans, who was your standout performer in the 1-1 draw with Leeds? 🤔
It may not just be an opportunity to bring players in over these final days, though.
There is one player who Everton News columnist Alan Myers now feels may have just played his final game at the Hill Dickinson.

Alan Myers thinks Beto could now be set for Everton exit
It has been suggested that Everton have received interest in Beto from a number of clubs across Europe.
The striker is struggling to earn himself a spot in the starting XI, but the Blues are struggling themselves with a lack of quality in depth.
Speaking to Everton News in his weekly column, Myers admitted he thought Monday’s draw against Leeds may have been Beto’s final game for the club.
Finish this sentence: At the end of the window, Beto will be playing for… 🤔
What would YOU do if you were calling the shots?
‘I think there is reason to be hopeful for the second half of the season,’ said Myers.
‘I still believe another striker is needed, I couldn’t help but think that Beto’s very late appearance had all the hallmarks of a player who may well depart in this window.
‘There is certainly interest in the 27-year-old, but unless a more suitable replacement is found I can’t see David Moyes allowing departures, especially in an area that is a clear weakness.’
Everton have shown an interest in Youssef En-Nesyri among a host of other strikers, but a breakthrough has not been struck on that front.
Without a replacement, there is simply no way Everton could sanction the sale of Beto in these remaining days of the market.

Everton must upgrade Beto but may wait for the summer
With days remaining before the deadline, the chances of Everton finding a significant addition to bolster their striker department feel unlikely.
No business has been done after the opening 27 days of the market and that may well suggest anything that is done would be opportunistic.
Ahead of the summer, it has been suggested that Richarlison is keen to leave Tottenham Hotspur, with a potential return to Merseyside mooted.
Regardless of whether fans want Richarlison back or not, this is the type of opportunity that may be on offer for Everton over the summer.
One thing that is clear is that Moyes will want the club to attack from the start of the summer given their slow start last summer and quiet month so far.
