Everton’s recruitment chiefs have been looking at a number of potential summer targets in recent weeks.

It’s understood that Everton have been scouting a number of Championship players, with Hayden Hackney and Femi Azeez on their radar.

The Toffees have also been looking overseas, with Atletico Madrid frontman Alexander Sorloth linked to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

David Moyes has had chiefs on the beat in Turkey as well, and now the club have just been informed about one of their targets who plies his trade for Galatasaray.

Everton informed of Gabriel Sara’s price tag

Everton are reportedly keen on signing Gabriel Sara, who is expected to leave Galatasaray this summer transfer window.

Victor Osimhen is a huge admirer of the Toffees target and reckons he’s one of the best players in the team.

The left-footed playmaker, who left Norwich City in 2024, has registered 11 goal involvements for the Turkish giants.

According to Turkish Football, Galatasaray have informed interested parties that Sara will cost a lofty £34m.

That seems a little steep for a player who only cost £15m two years ago and hasn’t proved himself in a top-five league.

If Everton can bargain with the Super Lig champions and strike a deal for around £25m, that would be a fairer deal.

Ultimately, Sara would likely join as competition for Dewsbury-Hall, so there’s no need for the Toffees to push the boat out and shell out a substantial fee.

Admittedly, the 26-year-old did make his debut for Brazil in March, so that will no doubt have boosted his stock.
