David Moyes has made two signings so far this summer transfer window.

Everton have completed the signing of Thierno Barry from Villarreal, and Carlos Alcaraz has already joined on a permanent transfer.

Moyes is now exploring a deal to sign Liverpool’s Ben Doak, who Arne Slot is willing to sell for around £30m.

Juventus’ Douglas Luiz is also on Everton’s radar as the Scotsman looks to overhaul his midfield ranks following the exits of Orel Mangala and Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Now, there has been a fresh development on one of Everton’s winger targets.

Everton made aware of Omari Hutchinson’s £35m relegation release clause

Everton are interested in signing Omari Hutchinson following his impressive season with Ipswich Town, despite suffering relegation.

Hutchinson also enjoyed a really productive campaign at the under-21 European Championships this summer, helping England to retain their crown.

The 2003-born netted in the 3-2 win against Germany in the final, operating as a touchline left-winger that day.

Brentford are also keen on Hutchinson and made an approach for him on Monday, however, it fell well short of his £35m relegation release clause, according to the Athletic.

The report claims a deal is unlikely at this stage, so that opens the door for Everton who have now been made aware of his clause.

Joe Hart was blown away by Hutchinson at the under-21 Euros

After England’s 3-1 win against Czechia in the opening game of the tournament, Joe Hart heaped praise on Hutchinson.

“I really, really enjoyed him tonight. From the moment the game started, he was England’s most influential player.

“He looks really, really fluid. When the other guys look to stand and square up their defenders, he looked like he had a plan.

“He had a great relationship with (Tino) Livramento. That’s certainly something that will develop throughout the tournament.

“I really enjoyed his performance.”

Evidently, the former Chelsea attacker has bags of talent and would align with Everton’s new recruitment strategy, which focuses on signing younger players.
