With four days remaining in the transfer window, there are a lot of uncertainties around Everton.
David Moyes has impressed since returning to Everton with six points taken from a possible nine in the Premier League.
But his opening three games have not come without their challenges.
Orel Mangala will miss the rest of the season after suffering knee ligament damage in the victory over Brighton & Hove Albion on the weekend.
Moyes is yet to see any new faces come through the doors at Finch Farm with the Friedkins and Kevin Thelwell running out of time.
But it is not just signings which need to be made at Everton with a number of players nearing the end of their deals.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin may not play for Everton again
Moyes was concerned about Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury on the weekend, which forced him off in the early stages.
And he had every right to with Everton confirming Calvert-Lewin is set for a period on the sidelines on Thursday evening.
The club have stated the striker will be going to see a specialist as Everton seek further information on his injury.
Sky Sports reporter Ben Grounds has even suggested this could be the end of Calvert-Lewin’s career on Merseyside.
“Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s career at Goodison Park could well be over as a result of his latest injury setback,” he said.
“The striker’s contract is up at the end of the season, and his record in the treatment room coupled with his modest goals return places all parties in an even harder position now to find a resolution that sees the 27-year-old extending his association at Bramley-Moore Dock.”
Calvert-Lewin has really impressed Moyes since his return to Goodison Park with the striker showing good signs in training.
This injury has come at a dreadful time for all involved.
Calvert-Lewin’s contract gamble has not paid off
Everton fans praised Calvert-Lewin following the win over Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the month.
The early signs under Moyes looked really promising for the 28-year-old, but this is the worst news possible for the striker.
Calvert-Lewin has been offered a new contract by Everton with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season.
But his gamble to test the January window has not paid off with the striker now at risk of putting potential interested clubs off with his latest setback.
It may even leave Everton questioning whether to extend his stay.
