Everton have eyed Evan Ferguson as a potential option to bolster their attack.
David Moyes is in desperate need of attacking players before the transfer deadline on Monday with plenty of issues to resolve.
It was clear when Moyes took on the job that Everton’s biggest issue this season has been finding the back of the net.
But with Youssef Chermiti and Armando Broja both out through injury, Dominic Calvert-Lewin has suffered another injury over the weekend.
Time is seriously beginning to run out for the Toffees in the market.
Everton hold an interest in Ferguson who is on the radar of a number of clubs across Europe heading into the final days of the window.

Everton receive Evan Ferguson transfer boost
Bayer Leverkusen were showing interest in Ferguson as they looked set to see Victor Boniface depart for Saudi Arabia.
However, there has now been a major change to the plans.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Boniface’s move to Al Nassr has now been scrapped with Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran set to make the move.
The Villa striker is now set for his medical with the Saudi side ahead of a mammoth £64m move to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Romano.
With Leverkusen now keeping ahold of their striker, their interest in Ferguson is likely to fade.
But Everton still face competition from West Ham for Ferguson alongside a number of other interested clubs.
The striker is in need of a fresh start at a new club before the deadline, which is set to make for an exciting end to the window.
Evan Ferguson transfer opens up to Everton
With options emerging for the 20-year-old striker, Ferguson has snubbed a move to Tottenham Hotspur as he aims to play regular football.
But the youngster is going to have to decide carefully over the coming days with plenty of clubs placing him on their radar.
“If he [Boniface] was to stay at Leverkusen and Duran was to get that move to Saudi Arabia, it might open the door even further for West Ham to come in and get Ferguson,” said Dharmesh Sheth.
“Lots of Premier League clubs want to be kept in the loop with what is happening with Evan Ferguson.
“This is definitely one to watch in the remaining days and West Ham are definitely pushing for him.”
It is believed Ferguson would approve a move to Everton before the deadline, but the Toffees need to resolve their loan quota issues first.
