Everton’s summer transfer window is going to need to be a big one, with plenty of players set to leave the club at the end of the season.
Since making his return to Merseyside, David Moyes has been tasked with handling a number of issues at the club.
Injuries have provided Everton with plenty of concerns, but there have also been some areas where the Toffees have failed to impress.
The January transfer window only saw one player arrive at Goodison Park, with Carlos Alcaraz signing on loan.
Kevin Thelwell has already mooted a big summer of spending in what is going to be the Friedkins’ first summer transfer window.
Months out from the window opening, it seems the new Everton owners have one player in mind to bolster Moyes’ attack.

Everton showing interest in Roma’s Tammy Abraham
Ahead of the summer, Everton have been keen to sign a new forward, with Armando Broja and Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s future still uncertain.
Although Beto has provided relief to the Everton attack over recent weeks, it has been an area of real concern for a large chunk of the season.
According to Team Talk, Everton are now one of the sides who are showing an interest in AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham.
West Ham are believed to be one of the other sides keen on the former England international.
Abraham is part of the Friedkins’ Roma side, but is currently playing his football out on loan with AC Milan.
Everton showed interest in Abraham over the summer, but it now looks like his time in Italy could finally be coming to an end.
What will be interesting to see is whether now being under the ownership of The Friedkin Group, the Toffees could have an advantage in signing the 27-year-old.
What David Moyes said about West Ham signing Tammy Abraham
This is not the first time in which Abraham has been linked with a potential return to the Premier League.
Everton have come close to signing Abraham in the past, with his future in Rome coming under speculation for a while now.
However, the Toffees are going to come up against the Hammers this summer if they are to make a move for the striker.
West Ham have held a long-standing interest in Abraham which Moyes has previously commented on.
“It would rule us out completely. We will be ruled out,” Moyes said back in 2021 on Abraham’s £40m price tag.
“So if that’s the figure and that’s what’s being said, we are ruled out.
“We don’t have that money, we don’t have that to buy a striker at that price, no.”
“Is that sort of figure our total spend? It may well be. But you never know here.
“I don’t think we will be making a purchase of that for any one player. I’d be surprised if we were.”
