Everton were able to find the back of the net twice on the weekend but it wasn’t enough to secure three points.
David Moyes will already have his eyes on the summer transfer window, with plenty of additions needed on Merseyside.
It is already believed Everton are prioritising a new striker, but it is clear goals are needed throughout their attacking line.
Everton have showed improved form under Moyes since he arrived in January, but the Toffees have only been able to convert one of their last 10 games into three points.
The Friedkins are ready to invest this summer and they are certainly going to have to add some attacking firepower for the new season.
With a new striker being a priority, Everton are ready to battle some of their Premier League rivals to a forward from the Bundesliga.

Everton showing real interest in Tim Kleindienst
Everton are eyeing Liam Delap as an option for this summer’s transfer window and they got a first-hand look at the Ipswich Town man on Saturday.
But with demand high, Everton are going to need to broaden their horizons and have a list of other potential options.
According to Caught Offside, one of the strikers who Everton have shortlisted is Borussia Monchengladbach’s Tim Kleindienst.
It is claimed the striker could cost in the region of €35m (£30m) which is the same as Delap’s release clause from Ipswich.
Like the 22-year-old Ipswich striker, Kleindienst has plenty of interest from other Premier League clubs with Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham on the scene.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin returned to Everton action with a cameo appearance towards the end of the game.
However, Everton squandered plenty of opportunities during the game which only highlighted the need for more quality to be added this summer.
Tim Kleindienst is lighting up the Bundesliga
It has been a solid campaign for Kleindienst in the Bundesliga with Gladbach.
He may have scored on the weekend, but Moyes recently criticised Beto for his poor hold-up play which cost them dearly against Chelsea.
This is not something Kleindienst can be criticised for with the striker showing his creative ability in providing goals for his teammates.

The striker has been praised by Germany’s sporting director Rudi Voller who was left in awe of the forward’s hold-up play.
“It’s always easy to say that when you score a goal, you’ve done your job as a striker,” he said back in March.
“But the way he held the ball up is also important. And he already showed his heading ability in the first leg.”
