Everton’s slow winter transfer market has not come through a lack of effort.
David Moyes is yet to see a signing officially made since making his return to Merseyside three weeks ago.
Everton have agreed a deal for Carlos Alcaraz to join on loan for the remainder of the season from Flamengo.
The clock is ticking on Kevin Thelwell who only has a few months on his contract and a matter of hours to complete any late deals.
Everton want to bring in two signings this window, but they are up against the clock if they are to match their target set out at the start of January.
TBR Football’s Chief Transfer Correspondent Graeme Bailey has informed Everton News that the Toffees are also eyeing up a move for an exciting, young winger.

Everton to rival Tottenham for Sunderland’s Tommy Watson
Moyes wants Everton to sign a new forward, but the Toffees may be made to wait on this one.
Everton are one of the Premier League sides who are showing an interest in Sunderland’s Tommy Watson.
“He is a player that has most of the Premier League looking at him and Everton are one of those along with Tottenham, Brighton and Crystal Palace,” said Bailey
“Sunderland are a team that Everton have watched a lot in the last 12-months and Watson is a player they like.
“However, it remains to be seen what happens. Sunderland want to keep Watson at least until the summer.
“Everton are in the mix for sure, but not favourites for him. He is a top talent.”
Regis Le Bris is keen to keep the youngster around for the remaining months of the term as Sunderland aim to make their return to the top flight.
But the Black Cats will need to consider their vulnerability if they do not secure promotion with just one year remaining on Watson’s current deal.
Tommy Watson has been hailed as a ‘special’ talent
Everton have failed in their attempts to sign Ernest Nuamah who could have provided firepower to Moyes’ attack.
However, Watson is another youngster who is showing a lot of potential, but in the Championship.
After scoring twice against Stoke City, Watson was hailed as ‘special’ by his teammate Romaine Mundle over Instagram.
However, there may be some questions over whether he is quite ready to make the leap up to the Premier League.
Watson has only made eight starts in the Championship this season and it could be a big ask for an 18-year-old to come in and impact this current Everton attack.
