It was another performance for Everton striker Thierno Barry to remember against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday evening.
The 23-year-old striker secured the points for Everton with another goal against Sean Dyche’s side.
Having struggled in front of goal all season, Barry has now scored both of his goals against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
Ahead of the game, David Moyes pushed for more out of Barry, who had failed to build on his goal against Forest at the start of the month.
One thing that cannot be denied is Barry’s work rate and the 23-year-old certainly put in the effort at the City Ground prior to finding the back of the net.
Having doubled his tally for the season, the Frenchman took to social media after the game to issue a five-word jibe at Dyche’s side.

Everton’s Thierno Barry issues cheeky dig at Nottingham Forest
It has been suggested that Moyes is still wanting to sign a new striker when the January transfer window opens for business.
However, Barry is looking to finally push on having found the back of the net twice this month for Everton.
Taking to his Instagram account after the game, the 23-year-old celebrated the three points and goal at the City Ground.
How are you feeling about Thierno Barry after THAT performance? 🤔
A big display from the summer signing! 👏
‘I love playing against them,’ Barry captioned his post as he pointed out the fact he scored yet again against Dyche’s side.
Everton will wish they could play against Forest every week having now taken six points, scored five goals and kept two clean sheets against them this month.
Moyes has noticed a more confident Barry since his first goal in an Everton shirt which came against Forest.
Seeing this side of the striker will please a lot of fans, but he has to back up his words by consistently finding the back of the net.
Thierno Barry could learn from a veteran striker
Where the January transfer window leads Everton in the striker department will be very interesting.
It has been suggested that Everton could consider a move for Evan Ferguson, but questions may be raised as to what he could offer that Barry already doesn’t.
Name some things more likely than Thierno Barry scoring 11+ goals this season… 😬
He'd need some second half to the term to reach those numbers…
A move for a veteran striker could be the play for Moyes as he looks to offer some leadership in his options up top.
Having a player who knows the Premier League inside and out could prove a big boost for the likes of Barry and his development.
However, finding a player to fit this bill will prove difficult in a notoriously tricky market.
