Everton are in the market for reinforcements this month.
David Moyes has made it clear he wants signings but so far, the club are yet to bring anyone through the door at Goodison Park.
Everton were close to signing Ernest Nuamah but that deal is now very unlikely to happen after Lyon got a fresh cash injection elsewhere to balance the books.
Willian has been offered to Everton whilst Sporting’s Marcus Edwards is the latest wide player to be linked to Merseyside.
The Toffees have also been keeping tabs on a wide player in Turkey and now there’s a fresh development on his situation.

Everton told they’ll have to pay £33m to sign Baris Alper Yilmaz
Everton made contact to sign Galatasaray’s Baris Alper Yilmaz earlier this month after his prolific start to the season
The Gareth Bale-esque winger (per GS Gazete) has already netted 11 times for the Turkish champions and is catching the eye of West Ham United, too.
In fact, West Ham submitted a £25m bid for Yilmaz this week but that’s been rejected as Galatasaray really want to keep him.
They will only sanction a mid-season departure if a £33m bid is lodged, so that may rule out Everton, who are operating on a shrewd budget.
Everton appear to have turned focus to Marcus Edwards
It seems the Yilmaz deal is far too expensive, so Everton are beginning to turn their attention towards Marcus Edwards.
Everton have already made an approach to sign Edwards and he was left out of Sporting’s squad last night.
The former England youth international has 18 months left on his deal, so he could be available on a cut-price deal.
A £15m price tag is being mooted.
