It’s a brilliant time to be an Everton fan, as the Toffees continue their fantastic form in the Premier League.

David Moyes can’t do anything wrong.

His return to Everton has been a welcomed reunion as the Scotsman has taken 13 points out of Everton’s last five league games.

After their 2-1 win on Saturday, it’s also been 20 years since Everton did the Crystal Palace double, with Moyes continuing to break records.

Beto was Man of the Match for Everton as the striker continues to impress, and Gary Lineker and Micah Richards have spotted exactly why he is impressing.

Gary Lineker and Micah Richards spotted one thing with Beto at Everton

The Guinea-Bissau forward has come on leaps and bounds since Sean Dyche left, as Beto made it four goals in three Premier League games against Palace.

Carlos Alcaraz and Beto linked nicely for Everton as Moyes has finally found the secret to the Toffees’ attacking problems.

After how Beto could’ve been screamed at by Dyche, it’s brilliant to see his turnaround, as Lineker and Richards have highlighted what’s the key to his remarkable upturn in form.

Speaking to the The Rest Is Football, the pairing explained why they think Beto has suddenly been on flames.

“What about Beto? Where’s Beto come from? He’s a new player!” Richards said.

Former Everton striker Lineker and Richards both explained that ‘Confidence’ is why Beto has been so good.

“Things are breaking for him which he didn’t have before,” Lineker said.

Moyes’ plan for Beto has worked brilliantly at Everton

It always seemed that the striker would leave in January, as Beto admitted he could’ve exited Everton, but chose to stay.

Evertonians must be relieved he chose to as now the 27-year-old seems to be Moyes’ first choice with Dominic Calvert-Lewin having to graft to retain his spot.

Following a chat with Moyes, Beto was told to be aggressive at Everton and that advice has paid off dividends for both the striker and the Everton boss.

Ever since the two have begun working together, Beto’s confidence has skyrocketed, and long may that continue for Everton.
