Abdoulaye Doucoure is seriously considering his Everton future, and it looks like the exit door awaits him.
The Everton midfielder has had a strong five-season tenure with the Toffees, but signs might be pointing to the end.
Doucoure was unsure about his future, but now the 32-year-old has made it much clearer for David Moyes.
With The Friedkin Group yet to sit down for talks with him, Doucoure has threatened to leave Everton.
It seems like he’s fully lost control of the situation as he has now called out Evertonians over something they have been saying.

Abdoulaye Doucoure calls out Everton fans over contract request
The midfielder has become the clutch player for the Toffees over the years, and he’s already shown that to Moyes with his last-minute winner against Forest.
His celebration made the media after the Mali International decided to do a ‘sign me up’ celebration, with Doucoure hinting at a new deal.
His contract has been a talking point for some time now, with it expiring this summer, as Everton fans think Doucoure is overpaid.
Well, the midfielder has clapped back at the supporters who say this, as speaking to the Fozcast, Doucoure has made his stance very clear.
“I see Everton fans saying to lower my wages. I’m amazed, I deserve to have my salary right now,” Doucoure said.
“To be honest, I won’t readjust my salary to stay at the club. I’ve seen Mo Salah get a pay rise.
“I’m playing every season, I’m important for the club, no, I should have an increase!”
“People talk about my salary, and I’m just surprised, like, no, I’m sorry, I don’t agree with this.”

The time is right for Doucoure and Everton to part ways
With Doucoure coming on this podcast and making these claims, it’s not a good look on the 32-year-old’s part.
Although he’s had a solid tenure, Everton probably can’t justify paying him £130,000-a-week as Doucoure is Everton’s highest earner.
This ultimately means that the ownership will have to make the harsh decision to let him go, as although he claimed on the podcast he could play for ‘another four years’, his destiny may lie elsewhere.
Doucoure has had an emotional journey from that iconic goal vs Crystal Palace to winding up Liverpool fans, but it seems like a new chapter is on the horizon.
