Everton fans are set for a nervous wait on the fitness of some of their players ahead of Sunday’s game against Nottingham Forest.
Sean Dyche has led his side to three consecutive draws against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City.
However, there have been some issues along the way, with Iliman Ndiaye suffering a calf injury in the draw at the Etihad Stadium.
The Senegal international has been crucial to Everton’s away form this season having scored 75% of their goals on the road.
Although returning to Goodison Park, the Toffees face another tough challenge this weekend against Nottingham Forest.
And the nervy wait to see whether Ndiaye will be fit enough to play may have just been eased by a recent social media post.

Dyche is ‘hopeful’ of Ndiaye’s availability on Sunday to face Nottingham Forest following the issue picked up on Boxing Day.
The Everton forward was withdrawn in the final minutes of the game against City, but Ndiaye may have just shared an encouraging hint towards playing on Sunday.
On Friday night, the 24-year-old shared a post from Everton’s Instagram account detailing the upcoming game against Forest.
The post from the club’s official account read: ‘Back at Goodison on Sunday – for our final match of 2024.’
Given Ndiaye’s availability remains uncertain, it would seem strange for him to share such a post if he was not convinced he would be featuring.
Paul Robinson was left so impressed by the winger, he suggested Ndiaye was good enough to play for Man City.
Everton need Ndiaye with Dwight McNeil doubtful
Dwight McNeil has really impressed this season for Everton having been one of their main creative sparks.
However, McNeil is expected to miss the game against Forest on Sunday as he remains a doubt through his injury issue.
“We’ll have to wait and see. It’s still a bit of a touch-and-go scenario with these games coming thick and fast. So, it’s a maybe at the minute as to whether Dwight makes it,” Dyche said.
Despite only arriving in the summer, Ndiaye has already established himself as Everton’s joint-top scorer alongside McNeil.
Considering there are very few goals coming from Everton’s strikers this season, there is a huge reliance on Ndiaye being fit for Forest.
