Everton can expect plenty more of Jordan Pickford as the 31-year-old is edging closer to a new contract.
After eight years of Pickford being the number one for Everton, this is expected to continue.
This comes after Pickford edges closer to a new Everton deal as a ‘huge increase’ to his salary is expected.
It’s deserved, as you have to say after many disappointing years at Everton, Pickford has been the shining light.
But he himself might question this decision after developments elsewhere spell trouble.

Everton’s Jordan Pickford to face £27m problem
It seems like ever since Pickford joined, his position as Everton’s main man between the sticks has been safe.
But David Moyes’ signing of Mark Travers will threaten Pickford’s position as the Scotsman likes fresh competition.
Pickford won’t be too worried as his Everton future looks bright, but it’s his fortunes away from the Toffees that look under threat.
David Ornstein has reported that Man City are to re-sign James Trafford for £27m this summer.
Although this might not seem too bad, Trafford signing for City is a problem, as Thomas Tuchel could play Trafford as England’s number one, with Trafford now at a higher level and will benefit from European football, which Pickford won’t like to hear.
Pickford’s time as England’s keeper could be coming to an end, and this might leave Everton’s no.1 with regret.

Pickford could regret Everton contract due to England chances
Pickford has had a strong tenure as England keeper, and although his time at Everton will continue, he might be questioning his position.
Tuchel may favour a keeper playing in Europe, meaning that Pickford is already at a disadvantage with Trafford making the move to City.
Evertonians don’t need to tell you why he deserves his spot, as Pickford shows consistently season after season.
But with the 31-year-old now almost signed and sealed with a bigger contract, will Pickford question his chances of a place in England now he won’t have the chance to play in Europe?
Of course, Everton are aiming for Europe, but going off the transfer window so far, Pickford’s chances are getting smaller and smaller.
