Messages have been flooding in on Everton’s Instagram with reactions to the return of Moyes.

Some players enjoyed part of their football career at Everton and some made their mark on Merseyside, as different characters have been wishing Moyes the best of luck.

Former Everton midfielder Pienaar said: “Welcome back boss, Let’s get behind the team.”

Moyes can develop promising talent at Everton like Anichebe

There hasn’t been much to be excited about at Everton and rightly so, as they are enduring their fourth relegation battle in a row in the Premier League.

However, the Toffees do have some promising young prospects now breaking through into the first team.

Harrison Armstrong impressed for Everton against Peterborough on Thursday night, grabbing an assist.

In the past, Armstrong has performed brilliantly for the Everton U18s, as he works under manager Leighton Baines in the academy.

Alongside Armstrong, Roman Dixon is also showing promise at Everton, as Moyes could have a plan in place for the youngsters’ development.

After Moyes’ production of players like Anichebe, it could be an exciting prospect for Evertonians.
