Everton will be weighing up a potential move for Jack Harrison, but there are a few tricky steps.

David Moyes is hoping to bring back the winger for a second time after his two-year loan spell with Everton.

But this time, The Friedkin Group could complete a permanent move for the 28-year-old.

However, Everton fans are opposed to Harrison’s return after a disappointing second spell last campaign.

Harrison showed promise in his first, which gives reason why Moyes wants to keep him, but the Scotsman will want to hear what Leeds United have just done.

Leeds United make decision on Everton target Jack Harrison

With the winger having an unknown future, it appears his likely options on the table will be a stay at Leeds or reuniting with Everton.

Although a permanent deal is on the cards, Everton wanted a free transfer for Harrison instead of paying a fee, but this doesn’t look possible with an effect on Leeds’ PSR.

This means that Everton might not be intrigued by Harrison, but the interest in the 28-year-old from Moyes’ side of things will still remain.

Well, despite him pushing for this move, the Scotsman might not even have a say in his future, as Leeds boss Daniel Farke might have already done that for him.

Leeds journalist Graham Smyth, who reports for the Yorkshire Evening Post, has said that Harrison will be in the Whites’ squad for their pre-season opener against Manchester United, which gives insight into what Farke thinks.

Leeds’ Harrison decision could mean Everton move on

This might come as a shock to fans after it was claimed Harrison will likely not be on the plane, but there is now another twist in the tale.

Although fans don’t want the winger, Harrison still has that spark, which he has shown on many occasions for Leeds.

He can still provide a threat, but the Harrison Everton got didn’t show that, and although there have been suggestions of Harrison’s return, Farke might have given Moyes his answer.

With his inclusion in the squad for the friendly against United, the Leeds manager might feel as though keeping him will be the best option.

This could change, but it’s clear Leeds are willing to give the 28-year-old a chance, as Harrison will probably be on the White side when Everton meet Leeds for their Premier League opener.
