Everton may have just been handed a significant boost in their hopes of signing right-back Emil Holm.
As the transfer market is set to open for business next week, Everton are prioritising a right-back signing.
Holm has been on Everton’s radar for months, with his future recently thrown up in the air following developments at Juventus.
If you were Angus Kinnear who would you be going all out for this summer? 💰
CEO of the Turin giants Damien Comolli has departed the club and his exit could open the door for Everton to make their move for Holm once again.

Juventus exit offers Everton hope of signing Emil Holm
There is a belief that Holm is open to a Premier League move over the summer after spending the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan in Turin.
Comolli was the one to bring Holm to Juventus on loan, with the right-back’s biggest supporter now departing the club.
It was not a great loan to Juventus, as Holm was only able to rack up 243 minutes over eight total appearances.
How are we being punished again by the Premier League? 😡
Everton ordered to pay Burnley £40m in compensation…
Everton were keen to sign Holm back in January, but were unable to reach an agreement with Bologna.
As the Swede returns to his parent club over the coming days, Holm will have two years remaining on his current deal with the Serie A side.
Despite his struggles with Juventus, the £6m right-back was able to provide four assists during the early stages of the 2025/26 campaign for Bologna.
With Comolli leaving Juventus, it is difficult to see how Holm’s loan stint in Turin could be made permanent.
The door has, therefore, swung back open for Everton to make their move.
It has been suggested that Everton are interested in Aaron Wan-Bissaka among other players, but Holm is someone they have had on their radar for months now.
