Everton’s attack is in desperate need of bolstering this month with the Toffees struggling massively in front of goal.

There may have been a change of manager at Everton, but the same issues were on display against Aston Villa.

David Moyes was left shocked by how poor his side were and the downfall which the club has endured over recent years.

But The Friedkin Group are working on improving the 60-year-old’s squad this month.

Everton have a keen interest in signing Ernest Nuamah from Lyon with negotiations ongoing for the Ghanaian winger.

However, there is another forward who is set to make a decision on whether he would like to move to Merseyside.

Willian set to decide if he wants to join Everton

Nuamah has greenlit a potential move to Everton, but the two clubs now need to reach a full agreement over a deal.

With Everton struggling in front of goal, he may not be the only forward to come through the doors.

According to Brazilian outlet Trivela, former Chelsea winger Willian is now set to decide whether he would like to join Everton.

It has been suggested Everton have been offered Willian after he became a free agent at the turn of the year.

The 36-year-old has now departed Olympiacos and a potential return to England is on the cards with two other Premier League sides interested.

The Friedkin Group want to sign a new forward for Everton, but their form in front of goal could well demand more than just one.

What Jurgen Klopp previously said about Willian

Willian would certainly bring plenty of experience to Goodison Park if he was to make a return to the Premier League.

This is a player who former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised extremely highly over the years.

‘With [Raul] Jimenez up front, [Carlos] Vinicius, and then one of the greatest, the little curly one [Willian], one of the greatest the Premier League ever saw, who is still going and going and going and [Andreas] Pereira,” he said in December 2023.

Although not a winger, Beto’s Everton future still remains in doubt, with Torino ready to make a real push for the striker.

At a time when Everton are struggling so badly in front of goal, any departures are going to have to be met by arrivals this month.
