It’s been a busy start to the summer transfer window for Everton – and now a Premier League bid has arrived for one of the Toffees’ reported targets.
Tim Iroegbunam and Iliman Ndiaye have both arrived to bolster Sean Dyche’s ranks. Ndiaye, formerly of Sheffield United, was convinced by his Senegal teammate Idrissa Gana Gueye to move to the Blues.
Furthermore, Everton are believed to have launched a bid for Hellas Verona’s Jackson Tchatchoua and are also in the hunt for Hull City’s vice-captain, Jacob Greaves.
Another player from Humberside who is of interest is “ridiculous” winger Jaden Philogene.
And now, a bid has reportedly arrived. Unfortunately for Evertonians, it’s from a Premier League rival.
Crystal Palace make move for Everton target Jaden Philogene

Crystal Palace, along with Everton, are believed to have a long-standing interest in the Hull City man, and according to TEAMtalk, a bid has been lodged.
The latest report suggests the Eagles have made a “big move” in the race by sending a concrete offer.
At present, it’s unclear how much Oliver Glasner’s men have tabled for the jet-heeled 22-year-old.
Philogene, who looks set to depart the Championship club, is viewed as an ideal replacement for Michael Olise, who looks destined to join Bayern Munich.
Everton and Ipswich Town have sent contract proposals to Philogene but have reportedly yet to table a bid.
Jaden Philogene caught the eye with sensational goal against Rotherham last season
Philogene netted 12 times for the Tigers during the 2023/24 campaign, but it was his effort against Rotherham that really garnered attention.
The 22-year-old’s Rabona effort was initially given to the former Aston Villa man before the dubious goals panel got involved.
Nevertheless, Philogene’s skill certainly caught the eye and alerted clubs, pundits, and fans to his immense talent.
As for Everton’s move, it feels like the winger moving to Goodison Park is a long shot. With Ipswich and Palace pushing for moves and Philogene supposedly keen on a move to Portman Road, something drastic will have to change for the winger to end up at Goodison Park.
