The Friedkin Group have a busy few weeks ahead with the Everton takeover progressing well, but they now have another issue to deal with as the manager situation at Roma is far from certain.
Everton fans may not have too long to wait for the takeover to be completed, with many different outlets suggesting a late November to mid-December completion date.
There have been numerous rumours about the plans the Friedkin Group have for Everton, including inviting George Downing and Andy Bell to potentially join the board.
However, their attention is being diverted back to Roma a bit more of late as results haven’t been great, which has led to a lot of unrest in Italy.
One of the Friedkin Group’s decisions that hasn’t gone down well is Daniele De Rossi’s sacking.
Now, there is another managerial rumour that has emerged at Roma, and it hasn’t pleased Everton fans who are now slightly concerned about the prospective new owners.

The Friedkin Group have been linked with a whole host of names for the Roma job, including Maurizio Sarri, who was also being touted for an Everton role.
Now, it appears a more familiar face has joined their shortlist as a Frank Lampard rumour has emerged.
It has now been reported in Italy that Frank Lampard has become a contender for the Roma job after figures close to Everton personally recommended the ex-Toffees boss.
This hasn’t gone down too well with Everton fans after his stint at Goodison Park where he won just 12 games out of the 44 he was in charge of.

Many Everton fans, when speaking on X, all shared their concern about the Friedkin Group potentially thinking about appointing Frank Lampard.
