The Friedkin Group could turn to a former Everton manager to replace current Roma boss Ivan Juric.
Roma’s manager has only been in charge for 10 games after he was appointed following the Friedkin Group’s controversial decision to sack club legend Daniele De Rossi but has failed to set the world alight.
In his 10 games in charge, the Croatian has won four of them and in his most recent outing, lost 3-2 to Hellas Verona on Sunday.
A change could now be imminent and the Toffees’ prospective new owners could take inspiration from their new club when it comes to appointing a replacement.
Frank Lampard emerges as shock contender for Roma job

Among some of the names in early contention include Paulo Sousa and Roberto Mancini but perhaps the biggest surprise of all is former Everton boss Frank Lampard.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lampard has become a contender after figures close to Everton personally recommended the ex-Toffees boss.
The former England international has been out of work since being sacked by Everton in January 2023 and has the second-worst win percentage out of any manager in the club’s history.
It’s unclear if he is the favourite for the role but he is among the shortlist of candidates to approach if a change is made.

What does the Friedkin Group’s stance on the Roma job mean for Sean Dyche?
Given that the Friedkin Group will be the ones likely to make a decision on Sean Dyche’s future, news of another managerial change at Roma doesn’t bode well.
Dyche is out of contract at the end of the 2024/25 season and widespread reports have claimed that he won’t be at the club next season.
Dan Friedkin and co reportedly want to appoint a high-profile name to elevate the club and take it to the next level – something they don’t think the current boss can do.

The fact that the Serie A side could be looking for a third permanent manager of the season before Christmas should come as a warning to Dyche though.
Some fans have already called for his head and it appears that the Friedkin Group is prepared to pull the trigger early as opposed to giving them time to turn it around.
