Richarlison’s future at Tottenham Hotspur is being questioned again as Everton search for a new striker.

Goals are needed on Merseyside this month and David Moyes would certainly be handed an upgrade with the former Toffee.

Everton are searching for a new striker in January following an inconsistent start to the season from their two strikers.

The Toffees are now more than a week into the window and no movement has been made despite more players being made unavailable for selection to Moyes.

Recent results have seen Everton fall back into the bottom half of the table, which should only be pushing the club in the market.

With speculation growing over Richarlison’s future in north London, the Brazilian has now taken to social media to share his actual stance.

Richarlison shares real stance over Tottenham future amid Everton interest

It has been suggested that Richarlison wants to leave Spurs at the end of the season, with clubs already circling.

The summer will see the Brazilian hopefully play at the World Cup before then potentially choosing his next club.

Having seen the speculation on Instagram, Richarlison has taken it upon himself to set the record straight.

How much of an upgrade would Richarlison be over Barry and Beto? 🤩

‘Who said that? F*** off,’ said the Brazilian after reading the reports.

Everton were never going to move for Richarlison in January, with the finances likely being too significant for a winter market.

However, the 28-year-old will only have one year remaining on his Spurs deal come the summer.

This could make for one to watch regardless of his comments as Everton News understands that Richarlison would be keen on a return to Everton.

Everton need to add a striker in January

Whether it is just a loan signing or permanent, Everton need to find some goals to add to their squad this month.

Moyes is demanding more from Thierno Barry, who has now scored three goals in the Premier League in roughly the last month.

Now this should be interesting! 😏

More consistency is needed from both Barry and Beto given they have combined for a mere five goals all season.

The Friedkins are said to be backing Everton in the market, but the Blues are still yet to make any moves to improve their side.

With games coming thick and fast, there really is not much time for Everton’s recruitment staff to be sitting on their hands.
