Everton will have plenty of decisions to make this January as Premier League clubs almost reach the halfway stage of the window.

Moyes is hopeful of January additions at Everton as the Toffees are on the search to strengthen in certain areas.

It will be a testing challenge for the new Everton boss who will have to get the best out of a squad struggling to maintain form in the Premier League.

Adding on to Moyes’ hope for signings, three could enter the door at Everton which could give a real boost to fans.

One thing is for sure, Moyes will be expecting quick differences in a glaringly obvious negative so far this season.

David Moyes to put ‘pressure’ on Everton forwards

Everton’s goal-scoring has been very poor, whether it was down to Sean Dyche’s tactics or not.

Goals are what the fans expect and Moyes will no doubt have that as one of his first points of focus.

Speaking in his first press conference since his Everton return, Moyes won’t hesitate to make changes if things continue in the same vein.

When asked about Everton’s goal-scoring form (18:00), Moyes said: “If we all knew the answer we would’ve done it and the past manager would’ve done it as well.

“Whether it’s set pieces or open play, you need all the players to chip in with goals, we’ll be putting pressure on the forwards to do that as well.

“We might look to strengthen in those areas if we can’t get results from what we’ve got.”

Moyes will have big striker decision to make if form continues

Let’s not beat around the bush, Everton’s form in front of goal has been abysmal this season.

It’s an alarming factor when five goals have come from Everton’s last ten league games, and it seems as though Moyes is as frustrated by it as the fans are.

Much has been made of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Everton’s natural number nine, as Moyes said he will give Calvert-Lewin confidence with the striker struggling in all aspects so far this season

Leon Osman will be stunned if Calvert-Lewin departs Everton this window, but it isn’t completely off the table.

Everton could sign Yuri Alberto who Moyes wanted in the past, so if the new Everton boss is unhappy, he won’t wait to make any changes.

Moyes will have to set things right and hope he can get the best out of what he’s got in the striking department, otherwise, drastic decisions could be made.
