Sean Dyche spoke at his press conference today, and made an interesting claim about striker Beto.
The Everton manager appeared before the media, ahead of the club’s FA Cup third-round clash with Peterborough United on Thursday.
The pressure is cranking up on Dyche, after another sorry performance at the weekend against Bournemouth.
Everton did not have a single shot on target against the Cherries, and the Bournemouth fans even mocked Everton and Dyche during the game.
The single biggest issue this season has been the scoring of goals, with all of the forwards having underwhelming seasons.
One man who has struggled is Beto, who is thought to be a transfer target for Torino.
Today, Dyche gave an interesting update on the star.
Sean Dyche says exit-linked Everton striker Beto was training at Finch Farm on Tuesday

On Sunday, an X user posted a photo showing Everton striker Beto at an airport.
This caused a bit of a stir, with many suggesting that his time at Everton is coming to an end. Even the user that posted the photo claimed Beto was heading for Torino.
But on Monday it was claimed there was not yet an agreement between Everton and Torino over Beto.
Earlier today, Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Beto had indeed given Torino the green light.
So there have been some conflicting reports, and today, Dyche was asked about Beto his press conference.
When asked if he is still around at Finch Farm right now, Dyche replied: “There is all kinds of claims about all sorts of things at the moment.
“He was here today training, as usual.”
All eyes on Everton teamsheet vs Peterborough
So Beto trained at Finch Farm on Tuesday, which is an interesting development after he was pictured at an airport over the weekend.
It may well be that the picture was taken from another time.

But it is also not out of the question that Beto did fly to Italy, before heading back to England and training as normal with Everton.
But one thing is for sure. Amid all the uncertainty, Dyche’s teamsheet on Thursday will be very interesting.
If Beto is not in the matchday squad, there’s every chance it will be relating to his proposed move to Torino.
