TalkSPORT pundit has just revealed the major concern he has for Everton

Everton look set to be involved in yet another relegation battle.

It looked as though Sean Dyche had something to build on from last season, as they avoided relegation with ease – despite having eight points docked.

Everton had the fourth-best defensive record in the league and it seemed with a slight tweak in attack, they could finish mid-table this term.

But it’s not panned out like that at all and they’ve actually regressed in nearly every area – including at the back.

The Toffees remain bereft of quality going forward and fans are growing tired of Dyche’s pragmatic style of play.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin continues to misfire having scored just twice in the league and Beto isn’t exactly showing why he was signed for £30m.

So, with all that said, a talkSPORT pundit has now shared his major worry for Everton this season.

Jason Cundy worried about Everton’s upcoming fixtures

Speaking on talkSPORT, Jason Cundy admitted he’s really worried about Everton’s tough run of fixtures ahead.

“In December, they’ve got [Manchester] United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, [Manchester] City, [Nottingham] Forest, sandwiched amongst all of that, they’ve got Wolves, they will stink. I’m worried about Everton,” Cundy said.

“You’ve got to look at the teams below. They’re 15th and have got 11 points, but Wolves have picked up, you say Crystal Palace aren’t going to be there, so the only other team really is Leicester.

“Ipswich, for me, are gone. Southampton are gone. It’s only Leicester then that Everton are fighting with. But, you’re talking about that fixture list they’ve got coming up, big trouble.”

Everton’s fixture run could see them slip into bottom three

Everton had a pretty favourable run of fixtures to start the season but after picking up just 11 points in 12 games, it’s fair to say they’ve not taken advantage of it.

Now, they have 10 incredibly challenging games ahead of them running through until mid-January, as they face all of the traditional big six – plus high-flying Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.

It’d be remarkable if Dyche survived this run of games and if he is to depart, the Friedkin Group are expected to appoint David Moyes until the end of the season.
