Everton’s long-term future looks bright with new ownership and a state-of-the-art stadium on the horizon.

However, their promising future will only materialise if they manage to avoid relegation this season and their poor start has concerned supporters.

Everton’s once rock-solid defence is now becoming somewhat of a distant memory as they’ve started to leak more goals.

Pair that with their profligate attackers and it’s putting their Premier League status in serious jeopardy once again

That’s put immense pressure on manager Sean Dyche with a large section of the fanbase now calling for him to be sacked.

He remains safe, for now, but a talkSPORT journalist has just spotted a telltale sign about his future at Goodison Park.

Sean Dyche’s body language suggests he knows he could be sacked by Friedkin Group

TalkSPORT journalist Alex Crook, via GiveMeSport, believes he’s spotted a telltale sign in Dyche which suggests he knows his Everton future could be coming to an end imminently.

“You look at Everton, I thought they were really poor again at West Ham at the weekend,” Crook explained.

“And when you speak to Sean Dyche, just his body language, I think he knows that at some point the call will come once Friedkin gets his feet under the table.”

There have been widespread rumours that the Friedkin Group are already eyeing up candidates to replace the former Burnley boss.

In fact, David Moyes is thought to be a candidate to replace Dyche, though, he’d likely only be brought in on a short-term contract until the end of the season.

Friedkin Group have shown their ruthless hand at Roma

The Friedkin Group have already shown their ruthless hand at Roma in recent weeks, having sacked two managers already this season.

Friedkin is set to appoint Claudio Ranieri having eyed former Chelsea managers Graham Potter and Mauricio Sarri.

So, quite clearly, they are not afraid to make a change in the dugout if they feel things aren’t progressing – which puts Dyche’s future into major doubt.

Everton have an incredibly tough run of fixtures over the festive period, too, so it’s set to be a telling period on Merseyside.
