Everton’s summer transfer window is quickly heating up, with signings needed quickly.
David Moyes has now welcomed his men back to Finch Farm training for what will be a gruelling pre-season.
The Everton players and staff have taken off on a short camp up to Scotland, where the 62-year-old is pushing his players’ fitness levels.
However, The Friedkin Group have not been able to offer Moyes any new faces to work with just yet.
Everton are expected to sign Thierno Barry once his summer break comes to an end, but fans will be wanting to see more players added to their squad.
And it seems one of the players who the Toffees have on their radar is also of interest to the Friedkins’ other club, AS Roma.

Roma set to rival Everton for Richard Rios
Everton are showing interest in Richard Rios of Palmeiras this summer, but so are a number of clubs from across Europe.
This comes as Everton eye midfield additions to boost the quality of their options for Moyes.
But Fabrizio Romano has now shared Roma’s real interest in potentially securing a deal for Rios this summer.
The Italian journalist claims both Inter Milan and Roma have now reached out to the Brazilian outfit about Rios’ availability.
It is believed Palmeiras are looking for a fee in the region of €30m (£25m) to secure a move for the 25-year-old.
A lot of Everton fans would like to see Rios sign this summer, in what they feel would be a major midfield upgrade.
With Idrissa Gana Gueye now securing his future to Merseyside, the Toffees should be looking to add quality around the Senegal international.
Everton face serious transfer competition this summer
It is proving to be a difficult market to operate in this summer, but it is not helped when Everton are competing against their sister club.
The Friedkins have two clubs looking to sign similar players this summer, and it is resulting in targets being shared.
Rios is wanted by the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, who are fronting up interest from the Premier League.
But it appears the Friedkins are looking to steal a march on their competitors in the race to sign the in-demand midfielder.
