Everton fans were finally presented with their eighth signing of the summer with Tyler Dibling joining from Southampton.

David Moyes has been demanding a new right winger ever since the moment he returned to Merseyside in January.

The signings have steadily arrived at Everton this summer, but there has been some really exciting additions over recent weeks.

Dibling is eligible to make his Everton debut against Mansfield Town on Wednesday night in the second round of the Carabao Cup.

Whether Moyes is ready to throw him straight into the side is another question, but it could offer the youngster the perfect opportunity to make his debut.

Everton have spent an initial £35m on Dibling, and the youngster has already eyed two players he is looking to learn his trade from on Merseyside.

Tyler Dibling ready to learn from two Everton players

Praising the youngster’s potential, Theo Walcott has likened Dibling to Gareth Bale, who also came through the ranks on the south coast.

Although a huge talent, Dibling still has a lot to learn, and it is clear he is ready to do so under Moyes and his Everton teammates.

Speaking to the club’s media after securing his deal, Dibling named Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye as two players he will be looking up to at Finch Farm.

“I think the manager is perfect for me. Obviously he’s helped so many players before who were in my position. I’ve spoken to him and I know he’s going to be good for me,” he said.

“There are so many players here to learn from, real quality players like Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye.

“I’d say the wow factor in my game is my dribbling. That’s what I’m best at and that’s what I want to excite the fans, and I hope I’ll get to do a lot of it.

Grealish impressed on his full Everton debut at the weekend against Brighton & Hove Albion, where he provided two assists.

Landing the Englishman was a real coup for Everton, and it is clear he could now provide a lot more than just goals and assists on the pitch for the Blues.

Tyler Dibling shares his 2025/26 targets at Everton

Following weeks of speculation, Dibling was keen to join Everton despite receiving interest from other Premier League clubs.

After missing out on Eberechi Eze, Tottenham Hotspur plotted a move for Dibling, but it was clear where the 19-year-old wanted to play his football.

During his first interview as an Everton player, the youngster shared what he has on his list of targets for the 2025/26 campaign.

“My aim for this season is just to play as many games as I can and to help the team as much as I can with goals and assists,” he said.

“As a team, hopefully we can have a good season and see where it goes.”

Everton fans will be delighted to see a player of Dibling’s ability make the move, but patience will likely be needed to see him reach his full potential.
