Everton have already turned their attention to the summer transfer window.

It was a slightly underwhelming winter window for Everton who were only able to bring in one new player.

David Moyes has welcomed Carlos Alcaraz to Goodison Park on a short-term loan with the option to buy.

However, no other business was done with Kevin Thelwell now into the final months of his contract on Merseyside.

The Friedkins have promised a healthy summer budget with PSR expected to be less of an issue in the coming months.

And it seems there is already one player who Everton will be keeping a keen eye on ahead of the next transfer window.

Everton eyeing summer deal for Tom Fellows

It was suggested on deadline day that Everton had submitted a £10m bid for Tom Fellows which had been knocked back by West Brom.

The young playmaker has remained with the Championship outfit, but clubs are already circling ahead of the summer.

According to Team Talk, Everton are one of the Premier League sides showing a keen interest ahead of the next transfer market.

Brighton & Hove Albion are also really interested in potentially landing the 21-year-old.

West Brom were keen to keep their young talent at the club for the remainder of the season as they target a promotion push.

However, local reporters did suggest Everton had not bid for Fellows following the reports to emerge in the final hours of the window.

But it does seem apparent there is a real interest there.

Everton also experiencing Brighton competition for Tommy Watson

David Moyes wanted an attacking addition to his squad, but he did not get that in the end.

Clubs across the Premier League endured their own struggles over the winter market with Everton fans feeling more could have been done.

Sunderland’s Tommy Watson was of interest to Everton, but they will also see competition from the Seagulls with the 18-year-old if they return in the summer.

But with a bigger budget set to be available in the summer, it will be interesting to see whether targets change over the coming months.
