The Friedkin Group have now been on Merseyside for a number of weeks since completing their takeover of Everton.
The first defeat since Everton’s takeover was confirmed happened on Sunday when Nottingham Forest put the Toffees to the sword.
Some big questions remain around Goodison Park with Sean Dyche at risk of being sacked if results worsen.
The Friedkin Group will now be able to offer their first real influence on Merseyside now with the January transfer window open for business.
Although they have only been through the doors for around two weeks, there is something which has really impressed Marc Watts behind the scenes.

The Friedkin Group impressed behind the scenes at Everton
Settling in on Merseyside, The Friedkin Group want to utilise Everton’s academy to develop the club from the ground up.
And according to iNews, the new Everton owners have been impressed with the work which has gone on ahead of their arrival.
Despite the difficulties endured towards the end of Farhad Moshiri’s time at the club, those at the club have been hard at work to set the club up for the arrival of the new owners.
On top of that, Marc Watts’ ‘personal touch’ has also been noted by those at the club since he landed at Finch Farm.
Watts spoke to Dyche of The Friedkin Group’s support for him with the new owners looking to provide some stability around the club.
The Friedkin Group have big plans for Everton
A big reason why the Americans were keen in purchasing the Toffees was The Friedkin Group’s interest in the new Everton stadium.
The report from iNews suggests the new owners are looking to utilise their facilities to help grow the club’s financial income.
Everton will be wary of PSR in the January window, with the Toffees still suffering from the previous actions of the old ownership.
However, the early signs of TFG’s reign are seemingly very positive with the Americans having had a chance to learn during their time in Rome.
