Everton may well be set to miss out on Graham Potter as their potential replacement for Sean Dyche.
Although the 49-year-old looks set to become the new West Ham manager, Everton’s interest in Potter remains in the background.
The Friedkins have failed to pull the plug on Sean Dyche this week following another disappointing results for the Toffees.
Everton are sitting dangerously close to the relegation zone following the first half of the season with little sign of improvement being made.
Some Everton fans are calling for a managerial change with plenty keen to see David Moyes return.
However, there is something about the club which has really interest Potter as he looks set to move elsewhere.

Everton have already spoken to other managerial candidates to possibly come in and replace Dyche.
The 49-year-old looks bound for the London Stadium as the Hammers’ time with Julen Lopetegui comes to a close.
According to journalist Sami Mokbel, the prospect of working under The Friedkin Group did appeal to Potter.
It is claimed the prospect of Potter working under the new Everton owners worried those at West Ham as they look to tie up a deal.
As a result, West Ham have worked on other managerial candidates, just in case Potter has his head turned by Everton.
But the Friedkins are handing Dyche time to prove himself and turn the recent results around on Merseyside
Graham Potter’s record against Everton
With Potter looking West Ham-bound, the Toffees may have an eye out for their meeting with the Hammers on 15th March.
Some Everton fans were keen to see Potter appointed as Dyche’s potential successor, but he looks to have chosen the London life instead.
The Hammers are also struggling and Potter will face Everton soon enough, but his record against the Toffees is not the best.
