Everton have found themselves in a managerial appointment triangle with West Ham United and Graham Potter.
The Friedkin Group have a big decision on their hands as to whether they feel Sean Dyche is the right man to take the club forward.
Dyche believes the Friedkins are backing him at Everton, but their trust will only go so far with results not exactly leaving much to be desired.
Everton have now lost their last two games in the Premier League and won just one of their last 11.
The poor form has the Toffees sitting narrowly above the relegation zone and has some Everton fans demanding a managerial change.
But hiring Potter may be becoming increasingly more difficult as the hours tick by.

Everton remain interested in Graham Potter
With Dyche failing to turn around the results on Merseyside, Everton have shown an interest in hiring Potter as their replacement.
However, it seems as if a deal between the 49-year-old and West Ham is now nearing.
Speaking on Sky Sports News, senior reporter Rob Dorsett has admitted Everton’s interest remains in the background.
“Even though they’ve still got a manager in Sean Dyche, their interest remains in the background, I understand,” he said on Sky Sports.
“But as things stand, things are progressing between West Ham and Graham Potter and all the indications are Potter will be the next West Ham manager.”
Everton have already spoken to other managerial candidates with Potter now looking likely to join the Hammers.
But the Toffees need to make a decision on whether they want to progress with Dyche at the helm and risk the results not improving as they haven’t of late.

The Friedkin Group may have missed out on Potter
It now appears a deal between West Ham and Potter is growing closer and closer as the hours go by.
And it seems as if the Friedkins may have missed their opportunity to land the 49-year-old after Everton fans wanted to see Potter hired.
Dyche has a big week ahead of him with three games in the space of just over one week where his future could well be decided.
The Friedkins are undergoing a club-wide review of the club, but any further losses could force them into making the decision on Dyche’s future.
