Everton’s five-game unbeaten run came crashing down on the weekend.
Everton lost 1-0 to Southampton on Saturday as they put in a pitiful display on the South Coast, with just 35 per cent possession.
Sean Dyche suggested a VAR blunder was partially to blame for Everton’s loss as he claimed Jan Bednarek should’ve been shown a red card for his challenge on Beto.
Either way, The Toffees just weren’t good enough and after the game, fans called for Dyche to be sacked with David Moyes named as his successor by some supporters.
It all couldn’t been so different, however, if Jesper Lindstrom’s free-kick went in and he has now shared what he told Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who managed to turn it around the post.

Jesper Lindstrom told Aaron Ramsdale he has ‘long fingers’
Lindstrom is a dead-ball specialist and has been taking most of Everton’s set-pieces since his loan move from Napoli.
He netted one against Preston North End in pre-season and was denied another at the weekend when Ramsdale made a super save to tip it around the post.
The Everton loanee, speaking to the Liverpool Echo, revealed what he told the Saints shot-stopper after the save.
“I said to him after the free kick, ‘you have long fingers,’ and he just smiled at me. He is a good goalkeeper,” Lindstrom explained.
“It is the Premier League. You will not play if you aren’t good. He had a good game and we lost. I am fuming.”
Everton have a really tough run of fixtures
The Southampton game was a must-win for Everton in many ways because now they have an extremely tough run of fixtures leading up until the new year.

The Merseysiders statistically had the easiest start to the Premier League season out of everyone but they’ve not really taken advantage of it.
So, it makes their clash against fellow strugglers West Ham United massive.
