It was a frustrating afternoon for Everton as after recent time a rare defeat occurred at Goodison Park.
Everton lost 2-0 to Bournemouth in the FA Cup as the Toffees’ winning streak came to an end.
Carlos Alcaraz made his highly anticipated debut as Paul Merson said Alcaraz was ‘very good’.
The performance wasn’t anything like what we’ve seen from David Moyes’ side recently, but the Toffees still showed signs they were still in the game throughout.
Something that did occur after the game involved Seamus Coleman and referee John Brooks.

What Everton’s Seamus Coleman was spotted doing at full-time
Coleman has assured Everton fans Moyes will succeed and has been proven right after Moyes’ first five games in charge.
However, the right-back wasn’t happy after the game as Moyes failed to cement a strong FA Cup run.
Journalist, Patrick Boyland revealed what the veteran Everton player was caught doing to the referee after the game.
“Boos for the officials as they head off the pitch,” Boyland said.
“Coleman has a word (with the referee) before they’re down the tunnel.”

Coleman has every right to be annoyed after shocking error against Everton
Everton fans may miss this passionate attitude from the Irishman as Coleman is unsure about a new Everton contract.
With his future uncertain, one thing that wasn’t uncertain was the shocking error the officials made in Everton’s defeat.
Antoine Semenyo opened the scoring in the 23rd minute from the spot, but Bournemouth’s penalty may have been offside, which was why the crowd and Coleman’s reaction was warranted.
It remains unclear what Coleman said to the officials, but judging by his fiery attitude, it probably wasn’t pleasant.
