It has been a good start for David Moyes in his second spell at Everton so far.
Moyes has been in charge for little over a week at Goodison Park after The Friedkin Group parted ways with Sean Dyche.
In the end, the managerial change was necessary, after Dyche told The Friedkin Group he’d taken Everton as far as he could.
Moyes got off to a losing start against Aston Villa, but it was always going to be tough having had only a few days with the players.
But despite that, Everton still put in an improved display, and then on Sunday against Tottenham Hotspur, Everton were the best they have been all season.
Moyes’ return has provided the lift TFG had hoped it would – and for Asmir Begovic, the appointment of the Scot was really a no-brainer.
Asmir Begovic outlines exactly why David Moyes appointment is so good for Everton

Not everyone was on board with Moyes coming back to Everton for a second spell.
But most are on board with him now after seeing the way he has improved the team in such a short space of time.
There is now overstating what a difficult job he has on his hands – but fans feel optimistic, and a couple of new signings through the door in the coming days could really change the picture.
It’s thought Everton could make two signings, and it’s been claimed that Moyes may have up to £40 million to spend.
Goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has been speaking about Moyes and for him, the decision to bring him back was a strong one from TFG.
Outlining four main reasons why the appointment is so good, Begovic said on the Seaman Says YouTube channel: “
“Having the new manager come in, with his experience and of course, his stature at the club – it’s been a good boost. I think just his familiarity with the club – Everton’s very specific. The expectation of the fans is not going to overwhelm him, he’s not going to be surprised by it.
“He knows the Premier League inside out, so again I think it’s a very smart appointment.”
In the same interview, Begovic admitted there was surprise at Everton when Dyche was sacked.
Everton must make additions in the transfer window for Moyes
It has been a positive start for Moyes and there is newfound optimism around the club, especially following that result against Tottenham.
But it is so important now for TFG to back Moyes with the Tools to kick on.
This Everton squad is still in need of reinforcements, and what the club do in the coming days could well be the difference between fighting relegation and pushing up towards mid-table.

Everton are interested in Ernest Nuamah at the moment and bringing in the Lyon winger would be an exciting move.
It’s also just been suggested Everton are keen on Marcus Edwards of Sporting CP.
Everton fans will just hope that whoever comes in can hit the ground running.
