Much has been made of Beto this transfer window with the Everton striker’s future up in the air.

Beto hasn’t been able to settle in January as his Everton future is developing into quite the transfer saga.

The Portuguese is looking into the prospect of leaving Goodison Park but so far, Beto has not agreed a move away from Everton.

Armando Broja suffered another injury in the Toffees’ clash with Peterborough as Broja could block Beto from leaving Everton.

However, a new twist emerged that could favour Beto leaving again.

Cesc Fabregas’ Como in contact with Everton for Beto transfer

Everton want around £10 million for Beto but the only suitors close to a deal is Serie A side Torino, however, they don’t want to pay anything more than £5 million.

It seemed the striker would no longer be a player at Goodison Park after Beto was spotted at an airport seemingly closing the deal with Torino.

However, he could be going to the Serie A after all, as according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Como, managed by Cesc Fabregas, are said to be in contact with Everton for Beto’s services.

Another transfer development, as David Moyes will have a big decision to make in the striking department this January.

Either Beto or Dominic Calvert-Lewin will leave Everton this January

It’s becoming increasingly unaware who Everton’s striking options will be come February. David Moyes will give Dominic Calvert-Lewin confidence after the striker has struggled in front of goal this season.

Calvert-Lewin has also been linked to the Serie A, like Beto, as Moyes will have to decide which frontman he ends up keeping.

The Everton boss is already making demands a few days into his return as Moyes sent a warning to Everton’s strikers after their dismal spell in front of goal this season.

The likelihood is that one of these options will leave, but Moyes will have to retain the other, as there is no guarantee a striker will come in this window.

Moyes is a keen admirer of Yuri Alberto, which could be a message already to the striker pair to be warned.

With Beto’s latest interest, surely Everton can figure out a deal that will come to fruition.
