A host of Premier League clubs are keen on the prospect of signing Everton transfer target Evan Ferguson this January.
With Ferguson on the market, Moyes can sign a striker at Everton, but it will prove difficult with competition.
The Toffees have been keen on the Irishman for some time as Everton’s interest in Ferguson began back in November.
You’d expect Ferguson to make a decision soon, as it could suit Everton with Ferguson open to the move.
The latest has been revealed as Moyes has a fight on his hands to secure Ferguson’s services.

How much Evan Ferguson will cost Everton this transfer window
Ferguson is seemingly high on Everton’s radar, as the striker could definitely provide some much-needed competition for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Brighton held talks over Ferguson’s future, but a conclusion for the striker is yet to be reached and what could happen with the 20-year-old is up in the air.
However, Journalist, Ben Jacobs, has revealed on talkSPORT (4:03) the latest verdict on the young talisman, as his updated price tag is included.
“Arsenal are still keeping an eye on Evan Ferguson,” Jacobs said.
“All suitors are waiting to work out if Brighton are going to sanction an exit.
“First of all, he’ll have to be fit, secondly his value won’t stretch to around £80m but his current fee is probably still £45m to buy him outright.”

Arsenal interest could sway Ferguson away from Everton
With Moyes having £40m to spend this January, it’s unlikely a permanent move to Everton would come to fruition, with a loan the only acceptable point of view from the Toffees’ side.
This could definitely open the door for Arsenal, however.
It’s not a surprise that Arsenal are ‘keeping an eye’ on Ferguson with Mikel Arteta desperate for a new no.9.
With Ferguson’s promise, you wouldn’t be shocked if Arsenal did pay the outright fee for the 20-year-old who on his day is one of the best prospects in the Premier League.
Fabian Hurzeler suggests Ferguson could leave Brighton but for who is another question.
