Everton return to FA Cup football on the weekend when they face Bournemouth in the fourth round.

David Moyes will have some interesting decisions to make ahead of the game on Saturday with a list of injured players to consider.

The January transfer window was a disappointing one with Everton eyeing two new signings at the start of the month.

However, the Toffees were only able to bring in one new face with Carlos Alcaraz signing on an initial loan deal.

The Toffees have some payback they owe Andoni Iraola’s side after Bournemouth fans mocked Everton earlier in the season following the game last month.

However, Moyes may be tempted to make some changes to his starting XI with a real focus being placed on Everton’s Premier League survival.

Carlos Alcaraz spotted in Everton training

After signing earlier in the week, Alcaraz has promised Everton fans to give his all whilst wearing the shirt.

The 22-year-old has made an initial loan move to Merseyside which could become a mandatory permanent deal.

Everton have an eight-game clause before being obligated to buy Alcaraz ahead of his potential return to Flamengo.

On Thursday, Everton shared some images from their latest training session with the Argentine midfielder spotted at Finch Farm.

Alcaraz could be seen wearing a snood which is something which Sean Dyche banned during his time at the club.

But it seems as if the Argentine has not wasted any time in getting stuck into the action at Finch Farm.

And with the midfielder up and running in training, perhaps he could be instore for his debut on the weekend against Bournemouth.

Carlos Alcaraz is ready to prove his worth at Everton

Kevin Thelwell is excited by the signing of Alcaraz with the midfielder holding impressive versatility which should be of great use to Moyes.

And it is apparent he is ready to get going in an Everton shirt with what he has said on social media.

‘I’m very happy for this new challenge, a new chapter begins with @everton. LET’S GO!’ he said on Thursday.

‘Thank you to my family and my team.’

Given he already has experience in the English game, it would be no huge surprise to see Alcaraz slot straight into Moyes’ starting XI.
