Everton manager David Moyes wants to see some new faces signed before the transfer deadline.
After their win over the weekend, Everton have been able to put some daylight between them and Ipswich Town in 18th-place.
But it is not a time for the Friedkins to stand still in the market with an opportunity to strengthen and end their relegation worries.
Ipswich may have dealt Everton a transfer blow over recent days with one of their deals potentially scuppering a move for Evan Ferguson.
However, Moyes is keen to see Everton make some moves in the market.
And he has now approved something in the transfer market which Sean Dyche may not have done this month.

David Moyes approved foreign signings for Everton
With just over a week remaining in the window, Everton are still keen to sign Ernest Nuamah after holding talks late last week.
This is a deal which may not have been possible for the Toffees had they not changed manager.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Moyes is happy for players to be brought in this month from abroad if they will strengthen the side.
The 60-year-old has given his approval for players without Premier League experience to be brought in before the window shuts.
Interestingly, this is something which the report claims Dyche would not have been as keen on.
Moyes would like to see two Everton signings made this month having been able to assess the side which he has inherited on Merseyside.
But the Toffees are starting to come up against the clock with less than two weeks remaining in the window for deals to happen.
Moyes has already changed what Sean Dyche left behind
Apart from the result itself, the game against Spurs on Sunday saw one major change about Moyes’ Everton side.
Dyche did not provide Jake O’Brien with many opportunities after he joined from Lyon in the summer.
Despite signing for a fee in the region of £17m, it seemed the defender’s lack of Premier League experience meant the likes of Michael Keane were ahead of him in the pecking order.
Sunday’s game saw Everton fans rave about O’Brien’s display from an unnatural position at right-back.
This just goes to show the different approach which Moyes has brought to the club and that can be seen in their transfer plans, too.
