Everton are in Premier League action again on Saturday evening with their away trip to Crystal Palace.

Three points for Everton could take them above Palace in the table if they are able to overturn the goal difference.

Oliver Glasner has already praised Everton ahead of their visit to Selhurst Park after the Austrian watched their draw in the Merseyside Derby.

It has been some turnaround from Everton under David Moyes with the Toffees unbeaten in their last four Premier League games.

The Blues have been able to pull away from the bottom three and go into Saturday’s game with a 10-point cushion on the relegation zone.

However, Moyes will be arriving in south London with some decisions to make as he will be forced to make at least two changes to his starting XI.

Carlos Alcaraz to earn Everton debut

Abdoulaye Doucoure wound up Virgil van Dijk and the entire Liverpool fanbase on Wednesday night.

But in the process, he did earn himself a red card and Moyes admitted he was disappointed with Doucoure for making himself unavailable for the weekend.

What this does mean, though, is Carlos Alcaraz could potentially earn himself his full debut after signing on deadline day.

The Argentine has made two appearances from the bench already and Alcaraz has impressed Moyes in the early stages of his time on Merseyside.

With Doucoure suspended, perhaps the 22-year-old will be the natural replacement.

Jack Harrison to replace injured Iliman Ndiaye

The news was not positive on Ndiaye with Moyes revealing the Senegal international had suffered medial ligament damage.

Ndiaye has been a revelation since signing in the summer and, alongside Dwight McNeil, has been one of Everton’s most creative players.

The same cannot be said for Jack Harrison who Moyes thinks has lost confidence this season as he searches for his first goal contribution.

Moyes spoke about Harrison in Friday’s press conference as he admitted he was encouraged by his last two showings.

“I thought he came on and played really well in the Bournemouth game. He’s been needing a bit of confidence,” said Moyes.

“I think both players [Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom] are beginning to show a lot more. I thought Jack Harrison done really well when he came on the other night.”

With options limited, it looks as if Moyes may be left with no other option but to start Harrison.

Big pressure on Beto to continue scoring

After coming into the starting XI, Beto has really impressed Everton fans having scored yet again on Wednesday night.

However, Everton are now without their top scorer for the season in Ndiaye, as well as the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and McNeil.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin3
Dwight McNeil3

Beto has spoken about life under Sean Dyche and Moyes will just be hoping he can keep this rich vein of form going in front of goal.

Everton predicted XI vs Crystal Palace: Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Garner, Gueye; Harrison, Alcaraz, Lindstrom; Beto.
