David Moyes will be taking on his first game as Everton boss after an 11-and-a-half-year wait on Wednesday.
Everton face Aston Villa at Goodison Park on Wednesday evening as Moyes returns to the stadium where he put his name on the map in management.
Moyes could look forward to three signings at Everton as the Scotsman looks to make a major u-turn on the Toffees’ season.
With Everton’s struggles, Ally McCoist said Moyes lacks personnel at Everton and that can’t be argued after the club’s start this season.
As the successor of Sean Dyche, Moyes had one thing to say to the departing manager.

David Moyes was ‘disappointed’ to see Sean Dyche leave Everton
Within the Premier League, there has always been a manager’s union as Moyes has shown nothing but respect for Dyche.
Moyes will be hoping he rubs that respect off on the players after a few stars at Everton ‘sneered’ at Dyche during his time at the club.
During the start of his first interview on Everton’s YouTube channel (0:42), Moyes addressed the elephant in the room of Dyche’s exit.
Moyes: “I’m thrilled to be back. I’ve got to say I’m honestly disappointed Sean [Dyche] has left because I’m a big supporter of managers.
“Now that he’s gone I’m happy to step in.”
As well as this, in his first press conference, Moyes hindered to Dyche doing a ‘really good job’ with Everton.
Moyes can build on Dyche’s Everton philosophy
Despite Dyche’s struggles at Everton, he did leave a platform for Moyes to build on.
Traditionally Moyes loves a big midfielder in his squad and Dyche helped him with the development of Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Adding onto this, the Everton boss prides himself on his defensively solid football, which Dyche helped with seven clean sheets already this season, despite this, Moyes identified defensive weakness at Everton.
The main thing he must improve is Everton’s form in front of goal, as the Toffees have seriously struggled in that area.

Everton fans should expect similar beliefs as they know already from Moyes’ first tenure, but Moyes must nail down the attacking approach as his first point of focus.
