Everton were held to another draw at the Hill Dickinson Stadium against West Ham United, but one player really impressed Duncan Ferguson.
David Moyes has now seen his side go four games across all competitions without chalking up a win.
The bright start to the season for Everton has now fizzled out, with the Blues failing to capitalise on some of their recent opportunities.
Ferguson was concerned about Everton’s strikers, who went yet another game without finding the back of the net.
It is certainly becoming somewhat of a concern on Merseyside, with just one Premier League goal between Beto and Thierno Barry in the opening six games.
However, there was one player who really impressed Ferguson with something he was able to do against the Hammers.

Duncan Ferguson wowed by Everton player in West Ham draw
Speaking on the back of the recent transfer window, defender Michael Keane admitted he considered leaving Everton.
He was the player to provide Everton with their only goal of the evening on Monday night, with a bullet header.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Jamie Carragher and Ferguson were both left absolutely amazed by the 32-year-old’s header.
“The actual header from Michael Keane, you’re someone [Ferguson] who was one of the best headers of a ball we’ve ever seen in the Premier League era,” said Carragher.
“The thing I found fascinating is when the ball comes in it’s actually behind him in some ways.”
“It’s incredible, isn’t it,” added Ferguson.
“He jumped off his two feet. Normally, you’re jumping off of one foot. But he got off the two feet and got it behind him, but what a header. It’s a wonderful header.”
Keane has encouraged Barry to get scoring at Everton, and he is certainly showing the strikers how to find the back of the net with goals like that.
With Jarrad Branthwaite still absent through injury, Keane has proven to potentially be one of the best bits of business this summer from the Blues.

Michael Keane has shone for Everton this season
Everton fans have been blown away by Keane’s performances this season in an Everton shirt.
He is a player who looks to have been given a fresh lease of life over the summer, with his new deal securing him on Merseyside.
- 90 minutes played
- 1 goal
- 10 clearances
- 1 tackle
- 6/9 aerial duels won
- 72 touches
Keane has warned Branthwaite he may not return to the side immediately when he recovers from his injury.
The 32-year-old’s performances have been that good that there should be no real rush to get Branthwaite back as quickly as possible.
