The Friedkin Group will want plans to be set for Everton, but a recent decision might not go down too well.
Everything is adding up to Everton having an exciting future under the ownership, as David Moyes is doing all the right things.
Behind the scenes, it’s certainly looking promising, as Moyes is known to be a perfectionist and has done so with his football so far.
Although Moyes’ winning percentage at Everton isn’t great, next season looks to be a campaign full of promise.
However, a choice that has been made might leave The Friedkins scrambling for the right replacement, as it seems to be a big blow.

Everton coach Dan Micciche set to leave the club
Many fans won’t be aware of how the academy runs things, but Player Development Lead Coach Dan Micciche is a big part of this.
With the academy going strong, players are making a statement to Moyes for a place in the first team as Martin Sherif has impressed for Everton’s academy.
A lot of the success stories stemming from the academy comes from Micciche, who has made a brilliant impact since joining the club in 2023.
However, it has been confirmed by the Toffees Academy that Micciche will be leaving the club to pursue a job in the Middle East, which will be a big blow for the Toffees.

Micciche could’ve developed the next Myles Lewis-Skelly at Everton
Micciche is a well-established coach, showing why Everton brought him to Finch Farm in the first place.
Everton indeed have a solid batch of prodigies who could one day star in the first team, as Harrison Armstrong has stunned Derby fans, as he endures his first loan spell away from Everton.
Armstrong is just one of many, but if Micciche stayed longer, he could’ve taken these prospects to the next level.
The theory behind this is from his time with Arsenal and England, as the coach played his part in nurturing the likes of Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri, Cole Palmer, Phil Foden, and many more.
A player who wasn’t mentioned previously was Roman Dixon, who looks to be a promising fullback, as Dixon is an ‘outstanding prospect’ at Everton.
Looking at Lewis-Skelly now for Arsenal, Dixon could’ve reached that sort of stature had Micciche worked with him longer.
Of course, it’s not to say Dixon won’t reach his high ceiling, but going off Micciche’s past successes, this could’ve turned out to be a real miss for Moyes and Everton.
