Everton are getting towards the desperate stages of the window with no new signings made.
The Friedkins have overseen considerable changes over the last month at Everton, but new signings is not one of them.
David Moyes has landed back at Goodison Park and he has been able to steady the ship with a seven-point cushion formed on the bottom three.
But that does not mean the Toffees can standstill in the transfer market with plenty of weaknesses in the squad he inherited from Sean Dyche.
Injuries to Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Orel Mangala have only highlighted that over the last few days.
Attacking reinforcements are needed and Everton have just been handed an opportunity to make a real play in the market.

AC Milan have offered Samuel Chukwueze to Everton
The Friedkins are planning on signing a new forward for Everton and have been looking at their options all month.
According to Calciomercato, AC Milan have now offered Everton the opportunity to sign winger Samuel Chukwueze.
The Toffees are not the only club which this offer has gone out to, though.
Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace have also been invited to make their move for the 25-year-old forward.
Everton hold an interest in Chukwueze and have been considering him as a target for the majority of the window.
But the priorities have lied elsewhere for the Blues with Everton also holding an interest in Ernest Nuamah of Lyon.

Everton could land a bargain with Chukwueze
The Nigerian’s former manager Stefan Pioli previously praised Chukwueze in a post-match press conference as a ‘quality player’.
But a bargain deal could be had with AC Milan desperately needing to raise some funds.
Newcastle United have also been suggested as an interested party in the report, but Everton need to improve their attacking options.
Moyes has urged the Friedkins to sign a new forward as his options have been limited due to injuries.
The main issue is, Chukwueze is believed to want to stay in Milan.
