Everton fans are eagerly anticipating the opening of their new stadium, and it looks as if it’s picking up pace as an exciting new update has emerged.

Avoiding relegation to the Championship is pivotal with the new stadium being built, as revenue can really be maximised with another Premier League season to prepare for.

Everton are in a fairly comfortable spot right now, four points above the relegation zone. Still, Manchester United under Amorim, Arsenal and Liverpool are all set to come in the next six games.

Sean Dyche is starting to come under pressure again after the last two disappointing performances, with a late draw against Fulham and a loss to Southampton last time out.

Some Everton fans want Dyche sacked and have already picked David Moyes to replace him, but it’s unlikely a decision will be made soon.

In slightly better news, things are starting to pick up with the new stadium.

Everton release exciting update on the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium

Everton fans weren’t too keen on the look of the tunnel walk at the new stadium, but this update may make them a little happier.

We recently heard that the Friedkin Group are already looking to expand the stadium’s footprint on the dockland site.

Now, it appears as if the next stage has begun with the pitch laying officially underway.

The Everton Stadium X account provided the update and stated this.

What do the players think of the new stadium?

Well, Dwight McNeil has been quite vocal about the new stadium, stating that he’s more excited to play there than he is for the potential takeover.

Iliman Ndiaye also has his sights set on playing at the new stadium, and he even wants to be the one to score the first goal for the Toffees there.

Everton are also hoping that the new stadium will help persuade Jarrad Branthwaite stay at the club, with Manchester United interested in the Englishman.

This could also work for incoming transfers in January and the summer, as the opportunity to play at the new stadium could draw some attention.
