Everton have been decimated by injuries to their strikers this season.
The Toffees entered the campaign with Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti both sidelined through their own respective issues.
Eventually, the pair returned to the fold, but they have both since suffered fresh injuries which have them back on the sidelines.
Over the weekend, Dominic Calvert-Lewin suffered a hamstring injury against Brighton & Hove Albion which is set to see him miss weeks.
David Moyes has now been left with only Beto as his senior striker to select for the game on Saturday against Leicester City.
Injuries have plagued Everton’s season but there has now been an update on the issues suffered by Broja.

Everton optimistic Armando Broja’s injury is not too serious
Since his injury in the FA Cup, there have been talks between Everton and Chelsea to cancel Broja’s loan deal.
The Albania international looked set to be sidelined for the rest of the season and he used up on of Everton’s loan spaces.
However, according to the Liverpool Echo, there is now some optimism at the club that Broja could return before the end of the term.
It has now been suggested Broja’s timescale for a return has been tuned down to just six weeks with the club’s initial fears eased.
Beto is expected to start against Leicester on the weekend with the Portuguese striker Moyes’ only choice.
However, it seems as if Calvert-Lewin and Broja could be set for a return over the coming weeks despite the initial concerns.

Everton could risk six weeks with just one striker
With the injury concerns, Everton have been searching for a new striker in the winter transfer market.
Clearly, it has proven an extremely difficult market for most Premier League clubs to operate in.
But the injury boosts to Calvert-Lewin and Broja over the last 24 hours could suggest Everton are ready to risk leaving the window with just one fit senior striker.
It will, of course, be a huge risk if Everton do that given their injury fortunes this season.
A defeat on Saturday would pull Everton right back into the mix of relegation and potentially put a spin on their outlook ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline.
