Beto has been reborn under David Moyes at Everton and it’s not outrageous to say he’s one of the Premier League’s best at the moment.
If you could back anyone to score on a Premier League matchday right now, you’d get quite a few saying the Everton striker.
Beto has scored in four consecutive Everton games meaning he’s equalled Mikel Arteta’s record from 2010.
Moyes has managed to turn Beto into a prolific striker in the top flight which is a stark contrast from his time under Sean Dyche.
However, Moyes has warned Beto about being selfish but this selfishness makes him one of the league’s in-form strikers.

How Beto has been transformed under David Moyes at Everton
It’s been a brilliant month for Beto who has excelled in Moyes’ new set-up.
Moyes wants Beto to be more aggressive and he’s certainly shown that up front for the Toffees in recent weeks.
His strength and overall hold-up play has been a joy to watch, let alone his prolific nature in front of goal.
After his treatment under Moyes’ predecessor, with Dyche supposedly screaming at Beto, it now looks as though the striker couldn’t be happier.
His form speaks volumes, and looking at his start to 2025, this is how he compares with two giants in the Premier League.

Everton’s Beto compared to Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah
A month ago you would have been laughed out of town for associating these three names together, but now it’s become a reality.
Beto could win the Player of the Month showing how far he’s come and proving why he deserves recognition alongside these names.
Well, it’s now become clear that Beto, Haaland, and Salah are fairly similar in the Premier League so far in 2025 which is some statement.
| Beto | Erling Haaland | Mohamed Salah | |
| Games played (45+) | 6 | 6 | 9 |
| Goals | 5 | 5 | 8 |
| Shots on target % | (9/14) 64% | 12/16 (75%) | 13/25 (52%) |
| xG (per 90) | 0.45 | 0.58 | 0.51 |
| Big chances missed | 1 | 4 | 0 |
Although Salah comes out on top, it must be remembered the difference in game time, nevertheless, Beto is amongst good company and is very similar to arguably the league’s best frontman in Haaland.
If the Toffees striker can keep this going then there is every reason why clubs may circle, and instead of getting rid in January, Everton may now want to treat Beto like a prized possession.
