Plenty of Everton fans are now hoping that The Friedkin Group will make a managerial change.
Everton lost again in the Premier League on Saturday, falling 1-0 at Bournemouth.
It was another performance that was way, way below par, with the Toffees not managing a single shot at goal all afternoon.
The result, which was followed by Ipswich Town drawing with Fulham, means Everton are now just one point above the relegation zone.
It’s a very precarious position, and fans are rightly asking big questions of the new owners regarding the manager, given how poor results and performances have been.
And these fans who are desperate for change are not going to like one claim that’s been made about Sean Dyche.
Some close to Friedkins think Dyche is the manager Everton would appoint if he wasn’t already in charge

Supposedly, Dyche still retains the support of the new owners.
It’s thought that Dyche may well keep his job at least until The Friedkin Group appoint a new CEO.
It was also suggested that Kevin Thewell’s future is to be addressed first.
So it seems Dyche isn’t going to be going anywhere imminently – and there’s one suggestion that’s been made about the how the Friedkins view the managerial situation that may not go down too well.
According to iNews, some people who are close to TFG share the view that, Dyche is exactly the type of manager they would go for if Everton were in a relegation battle.
If he wasn’t already in charge, TFG would seek to bring in a Dyche-esque figure to stabilise things and execute a salvage job.
So potentially, this explains why they are reluctant to make a change right now.
But it is also stated that TFG are prepared to be ‘ruthless’ if things get much worse.

This is an interesting claim, and one that probably won’t be going down too well with the Everton faithful.
There is some logic in this line of thinking, that Dyche – or someone like him – is probably the manager an owner would approach to come in and execute a safety mission.
But the fact of the matter is Everton have massively struggled to score goals under him this season and only Southampton have scored fewer in the Premier League.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 16 | 19 | 3 | 8 | 8 | 15 | 25 | -10 | 17 |
Things just don’t look like they’re going to change.
On Saturday, Dyche angered fans by glossing over how bad results have been at Everton in recent weeks, and after the game with Nottingham Forest, Dyche admitted the Everton players did the opposite of what he asked.
Dyche has kept Everton safe the last two seasons, but it could well be third time unlucky if he is kept in place.
