It won’t be long before Iliman Ndiaye is stepping foot back on Merseyside and putting an Everton shirt on.
Oh how David Moyes needs his Senegal superstar back in the starting XI after what has been a difficult past month for the Blues.
The experiment with Tyler Dibling replacing Ndiaye has not exactly been a roaring success as some grow impatient with the youngster.
Everton have, as expected, been unable to replace the 25-year-old winger, who will be returning sooner rather than later.
On Wednesday, Ndiaye will be playing in Senegal’s Africa Cup of Nations semi-final, with the final set to take place on Sunday.
Ndiaye has recovered from an injury scare and he has admitted he is excited to return to action at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Iliman Ndiaye shares what he loves about Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium
With concerns over his long-term future on Merseyside, Ndiaye has shared his target to win silverware with Everton.
Fans will be hoping he means that as that would mean he is set to be around for at least another year, given Everton are out of both cup competitions.
Speaking to the Everton website, Ndiaye has also shared what separates the new stadium and Goodison Park.
What do you miss most about Goodison Park after months in the Hill Dickinson Stadium? 🥺
The new stadium has surpassed all expectations so far 🔥
“I think the new stadium already feels like home. Obviously, it’s very different from Goodison Park,” he said.
“It’s new, it’s modern and it has everything. We get more fans inside and it definitely gives you more energy for your performance as a player. I’ve felt it. You properly feel it, especially when it gets going. That’s what you want.”
Everton News columnist Alan Myers has been frustrated with stadium transport issues in the surrounding areas of the Hill Dickinson.
When it comes to the match day experience inside the new ground, results will certainly affect the atmosphere generated.
Ndiaye has certainly felt it reach some high levels of volume, but the recent results may mean that the atmosphere requires a boost.
Ndiaye can reignite Hill Dickinson Stadium atmosphere
Performances of late have been really poor, with Everton opening up the New Year with two defeats and one draw.
Injuries, suspensions and international duty have certainly hamstrung the Blues, but the last five weeks have only returned one victory.
What concerns do you have about Iliman Ndiaye leaving Everton in the summer?😫
Surely Everton must hand him a new contract!
It simply has not been good enough, but Ndiaye’s return over the coming days or week will provide the supporters, and team, with a huge boost.
Jordan Pickford has been so impressed with Ndiaye once again this season and his goals have been sorely missed.
Seeing the Senegal international tearing full-backs apart again over the coming games should help raise the decibel levels on Merseyside.
