Jarrod Bowen remains firmly in the transfer gossip columns at the moment – and his latest move could have significance amid interest from Everton.

Bowen’s future has been up in the air since West Ham United suffered relegation from the Premier League.

Having been a standout performer for the Irons for many years, many have expected him to move on in this window.

Are there any players from the relegated clubs you want to see Everton go after this summer? 🤔

But it is not that simple.

Bowen loves the club, and has been settled in London for a long time. And it has previously been reported Bowen would favour staying in the capital.

He is obviously Premier League-quality, but him playing in the Championship next season does feel more and more possible.

And a post by West Ham today may suggest that possibility has increased further.

Jarrod Bowen poses for West Ham new kit launch amid Everton interest

Everton have now launched their new kit for next season, which has prompted a mixed reaction from fans.

But other clubs are also showcasing their new strips today, including the Hammers ahead of their Championship campaign.

And interestingly, Bowen is one of only a few players to appear in the media work to launch the home kit.

West Ham made a post on X this morning, with Bowen and Tomas Soucek modelling the shirt. Some people remarked that Bowen had a glum expression. That post has also appeared on West Ham’s Instagram page.

But on the official West Ham website, there are more pictures where Bowen looks much happier.

Of course, there have been instances in the past where players linked with exits from clubs have participated in new kit launches and still gone on to leave the club.

But with Bowen this does have a slightly different feel, because we know he genuinely does love the club.

It would seem strange for him to do this, knowing it would get the hopes of the fans up. Surely he couldn’t then leave.

Immediately after last season finished, Bowen seemed to hint that an exit for him was not a given.

And the club have now just sold Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham Hotspur for a huge fee, which perhaps puts less pressure on them to sell Bowen.

It’ll be very intriguing to watch this situation develop now, with Everton said to be keen on the player.

Indeed, it was reported in recent days that Bowen had told Moyes he would seriously consider joining Everton.

Perhaps his appearance in media for West Ham’s new kit will ultimately prove meaningless and he will be on his way. Certainly, a lot of Everton fans who want to see some quality added in the final third will hope for that.
